Training Day

So…  as I’ve mentioned before here, I’m a recovered meth addict (yes, yes… I know – you are ALWAYS an addict – but I’ve been clean for 12 years, and I don’t believe that you are always in recovery…), but since that time I went to school and got my M.B.A.  8 years of school to better my life and get me an amazing job and then I found out everyone else has an M.B.A. too…  Don’t get me wrong, I still have a great main job, but for some reason I did find it funny that this was supposed to be a job for 12 year olds on bikes, but no… It’s me.  At the same time, there are people at the paper depot with much loftier degrees than I!  A doctor there has his clinic as well as 2 routes!  So…  We all do what we need to do I guess…

So I went on my first run today with the girl who has been on this route since (I think she said) May…  She was quick!  She has everything folded in about 20 min and it only takes her like 45 min to do the whole route, at least early in the week.  She said Thursday’s get bigger…  But still!  It will take about an hour of my time each morning (usually) so this seems like it may be a great little gig!  I wonder how long you train for… She said it’s normally a week…  I wonder if I can get on my own faster.  She’s nice, but as long as she is doing the run she gets the tips and I can’t smoke…
