For Ethan Stacy

Ethan Stacy

Today we walk for Ethan Stacy – there is nothing that can be done for him now, but the monsters that had him a few weeks before they murdered him can still be brought to justice.  This is a case where I have a very difficult time with my stance that a death sentence is too light.  I don’t normally believe in the death penalty, however – I’m just not certain that the world wouldn’t be a better place without these two in it.

The Monsters

I’m still not sure what to think or how to feel, but all I know is every child deserves more.  I wish there was something that could bring him back and give him a chance – but that won’t happen.  While I don’t know everything, I do know that today, we walked.  Today, we demanded justice.  Today, the world is left a little more empty because this kid never got a chance to become what he could have become.
